DIY Vegan Cuticle Oil Recipes for Healthy and Beautiful Nails!

Cuticle care is an essential part of nail hygiene. Soft and smooth cuticles not only make your nails look better but also prevent infections. While store-bought cuticle oils may be convenient, they often contain animal-derived ingredients or are tested on animals. Fortunately, you can easily make your own vegan cuticle oil at home with natural ingredients.

Here are three DIY vegan cuticle oil recipes:

1. Jojoba Oil Cuticle Oil: Combine one tablespoon of jojoba oil with a few drops of vitamin E oil in a small bottle or rollerball container. Jojoba oil closely resembles our skin’s natural sebum and helps to moisturize the skin around the nails while vitamin E repairs damaged skin cells.

2. Coconut Oil Cuticle Oil: Melt two tablespoons of coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl and add five drops of lavender essential oil. Mix well and transfer to a small jar or tube for storage. Lavender has antibacterial properties that help to prevent infection while coconut oil deeply nourishes dry cuticles.

3. Argan Oil Cuticle Oil: Mix two teaspoons of argan oil with one teaspoon each of grapeseed and sweet almond oils in a glass dropper bottle. Add four drops each of rosemary essential oil (antibacterial) and lemon essential oil (helps brighten nails). Shake well before use.

Apply any of these DIY vegan cuticle oils on clean nails twice daily for best results!
