Get Your Winter Glow On with these Vegan Hydrating Face Masks!

As the weather gets colder and the air gets drier, it becomes more important to give our skin a little extra love and hydration. And what better way to do that than with a vegan hydrating face mask? Not only will these masks leave your skin feeling soft and refreshed, but they also don’t harm any animals in their production.

One of the best ingredients for hydrating your skin is aloe vera. Aloe vera gel can be found at most health food stores or online, and it’s easy to mix into a DIY face mask. Simply mix together 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil, 1 tablespoon of honey (if you’re not strictly vegan), and 1 teaspoon of vitamin E oil. Apply this mixture to your face and let it sit for about 15 minutes before rinsing off with warm water.

Another great ingredient for hydrating your skin is avocado. Avocado is rich in healthy fats that nourish your skin from within. To make an avocado face mask, mash up half an avocado in a bowl, then add in 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Mix everything together well before applying the mixture to your clean face. Leave it on for about 20 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water.

If you’re looking for a store-bought option, there are plenty of vegan hydrating masks available on the market today. One popular choice is Lush’s Oatifix Face Mask which uses bananas, oats, ground almonds and vanilla as its main ingredients to soothe dryness-prone faces while offering deep moisturizing benefits.

For those who prefer sheet masks over traditional ones , we recommend trying out Orgaid Organic Sheet Masks which come packed with natural ingredients like hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C & E along with organic botanicals like lavender flower extract which help soothe inflamed or irritated areas.

No matter which option you choose, be sure to incorporate a hydrating face mask into your skincare routine at least once a week during the colder months. Your skin will thank you for the extra hydration and care!
